In recent years, the smartphone makers are beginning seemed to lack ideas in design. Design, material and size smartphone often repeated or copied, but nothing groundbreaking.

The fact is that we have quite a few choices for the design: the material, the aluminum, glass or plastic; designs, most smartphones are rectangular, differing only in the ... corner rounded or not; about 6-inch screen size is limited to smartphones can be used comfortably. The main difference is reflected in the small details in the design.

Curved screen is the difference of the Galaxy series phones Edge

Nevertheless, many telephone companies have shown groundbreaking efforts in the design, such as the use of new materials (wood, bamboo) or ... back to the old trend (touch flip phone). Among the efforts to create novelty in design, not to mention Samsung.
The Edge Note that the company launched last year, is the first phone with curved glass, but not until the phone screen S6 Curved Edge really become a product "secondary" rather than experimental as before. Later this year, the company launched the S6 continue Edge Plus - enlarge the Edge of S6.
Product is genuine price was 900 million for the 32GB version.
Note If 5 was upgraded to become more beautiful phone but fewer features, the S6 Edge Plus can be seen as Samsung's answer to the iPhone 6 Plus: big screen, unique design, high price level. However if this was accurate answers that Samsung needs?

The design of the S6 Edge Plus and Note 5 have many similarities

Samsung has launched the S6 Edge Plus in conjunction with Note 5, and the design of the two phones also have many similarities: use of glass, metal frame. While Note 5 somewhat curved back surface, the Edge Plus S6 conversely, curved front. It is also a focal point in the design of the machine. Prior to Samsung, the manufacturer does not offer products with display is curved in two such edge.

Curved screen makes Edge Plus S6 looks very different and unique. When used outdoors or under the lights, the screen will reflect light, making the machine look very nice. Another factor contributing to enhance the sleek, luxury of the S6 Plus is Edge hull material of metal and glass. These are the two key materials in high-end phones Samsung since early 2015.

The curve is also part of the display, so when using the contents spilled over both edges. For content like photos or video, then share this curved screen makes beautiful images and strange, but when read the contents of the letter as Facebook, browsing through the curved screen, I felt difficult to read.

Curved screen also affect the touch operation. When the virtual keyboard to type, there will be much that you have to manipulate keys in the curve, and you can take time to become familiar to more standard keystroke. When holding the camera with one hand, sometimes I accidentally touched the screen unwanted. This phenomenon not often happen but still annoying to use.

LG started launching Android 6.0 ,Marshmallow G4 next week

LG started launching Android 6.0 ,Marshmallow G4  next week

Phone manufacturers are already gearing up to update their devices to the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, as we detailed earlier, but it seems like LG G4 might be the first outside the Nexus lineup to actually receive Google’s latest. LG announced that it will start rolling out the update beginning next week, and that Poland would be the first stop on the list, with other regions such as the US, Asia, and Europe to follow, though LG has not revealed any schedule for it yet. It is a common practice among manufacturers to roll out the update to a limited-size region first, to check for any issues before a worldwide release.

The update will just not be limited to the G4, though; LG has plans to extend it to other smartphones under its wings too. These devices would be the V10, G Flex 2, G3, and G2. LG is expected to release an official schedule for the update roll-out soon. “While speed alone isn’t an indicator of great service, it does go a long way toward giving consumers the confidence that LG is committed to its existing customers first,” LG mobile communication head Chris Yie said in a statement.

At the time of Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade, LG followed the similar strategy of rolling out the update in Poland first. However, it then took months to finally bring it to users in the US. Even so, it is good to see that at least some Android manufacturers are taking advantage of the Developer Preview to speed up an otherwise lengthy upgrade process.
-
The Marshmallow update will bring along lots of good features, such as enhanced app control and permissions, battery life improvements (thanks to the ‘Doze’ mode), fingerprint support, and mobile payments. Select Nexus devices have already received the update, which has brought in the much-awaited ’Now on Tap’ feature to the platform. The new feature is a revamped version of the Google Now. Talking about Now on Tap, Google’s Vice President of Android Product Management Brian Rakowski said in a blog post, “[it] stays on task alongside you, instantly pulling up relevant info and helping you get more done.”

Other manufacturers, including Sony, Motorola, and HTC, have also announced the Marshmallow update for their own devices, although no one has announced any set timeline for the roll-out. It is not always the case that LG takes the lead in rolling out updates timely, but it’s worth noting it did so at the time of Android 5.0 Lollipop update, too. So who’s next? After LG’s announcement, we are hoping — nay, expecting — other manufacturers to cough up some news too.

The Best Free Apps for a New iPhone

The Best Free Apps for a New iPhone

The Best Free Apps for a New iPhone

When I first got up new iPhone 5S (thanks to my parents), I instantly went to the app store and starting downloading apps! Having a smartphone and not using apps is like having a computer and only using it to browse the Internet. If you have an iPhone, you’re also lucky because the Apple app store is still better than the Android app store in terms of number of apps and quality of apps, in my opinion.
So what are the best free apps to download for your new iPhone right away? Well, there are a bunch! Obviously, everyone will have their preferences, so I’ll try to keep this list fairly general and useful for anyone. In addition, I won’t list many alternatives, just one or two at the most and normally the best ones.
I’ll also break it down by category, so if you’re looking for the best video app or chat app, you can skip down to the appropriate section. I’m not going to mention any games because the “best” game changes everyday and there are already enough lists online for finding good games. I’ll also not mention news apps and a couple of other categories that are pretty self-explanatory.

Best Maps/Navigation Apps
Best Maps/Navigation Apps

Google Maps – I pretty much use the GPS on my iPhone all the time when driving and it’s completely replaced the Garmin GPS I had used for years before. Apple Maps is pretty good now, but it’s still lags far behind Google Maps. Since it’s a Google product, you can log in using your Google account also and have all your data synced, which makes life a lot easier.
Waze – Waze is turn-by-turn navigation with the addition of a social community that helps brings in useful information for drivers. It has been acquired by Google, but it still a separate app. Eventually, it might be merged into Google Maps,

Best Weather Apps

Best Weather Apps

Yahoo Weather – This is my favorite because it’s got a beautiful interface and pretty much all the information you need, unless you’re hardcore about weather, in which case you’ll probably be spending money on a fancy weather app. But for free, this is just perfect.
Weather Underground – A lot of people swear by this app and I’ve used it also and really liked it. It’s free, but it includes ads. That’s the only downside. You can pay 99 cents and get the ads removed, but we’re trying to only mention the best free apps. Regardless of the ads, it’s still an excellent weather app.

Best Camera/Photo Apps

Best Camera/Photo Apps

flickr – The flickr app lets you browse your Flickr photos and also lets you upload everything from your iPhone up to their free 1 TB storage account. If you take a lot of photos, this is a great option. It’s also got filters and editing tools, so you can fix up your photos before uploading to flickr, Twitter or Facebook.
Google+ – Google+ is mostly a social networking app, but I listed it under best camera/photo apps also because it is actually really great for photos. If you used Picasa Web Albums in the past, those have been converted into Google+ photo albums and you can access them all from the Google+ app. It also auto uploads all your photos and videos to Google+ and create animated GIFs, enhances photos and more for you automatically.
Instagram – It’s hard not to find a friend who isn’t using Instagram. Even though Facebook bought them, they are still one of the most popular photo sharing apps out there.

Best Cloud Storage Apps

Best Cloud Storage Apps

Dropbox – The most popular and widely known, Dropbox is pretty sweet for storing your files in the cloud. It works on pretty much every device and on the iPhone it’s amazing for uploading all your photos and videos automatically. Only downside? Expensive for storage. If you use a lot of data, you’ll be paying way more than the competitors.

Google Drive – My new favorite because of the huge price drop: $10 a month for 1 TB of storage. You only get 500 GB on Dropbox for $500 a year. My new plan is to move most data from Dropbox to Google Drive and then continue to use Dropbox, but only on the smaller less expensive plans. Google Drive can’t aut0-upload anything from your phone. Google+ can, but the two don’t currently integrate very well, something Google needs to do if they want to compete more with Dropbox.

OneDrive – Even though it’s from Microsoft, it’s a pretty good app. Just about everyone has a Windows PC, which makes this app actually useful. OneDrive is integrated into Office 2013, Windows 8, Windows Phone, Microsoft Surface and other Microsoft products, so if you are in the Microsoft world, this is a good cloud storage app. It’s also cheaper than Dropbox in terms of storage.

Best Messaging/Chat Apps

Best Messaging/Chat Apps

Best Social Apps

Best Social Apps

News Feed in a much more modern looking UI. Everything looks better in the Paper app and it lets you follow popular news stories on a variety of topics.

Twitter – If you’re not on Twitter yet, you really should jump on the bandwagon. Even if you never post anything, you can get a lot of useful info by following the right people or companies on Twitter. Actually, I get better customer service from companies by posting on Twitter than by calling or emailing nowadays.

LinkedIn – Even if you work for yourself, you should have a profile on LinkedIn. It’s the best social networking site for professionals. Companies use LinkedIn like crazy for finding good talent, so keep tabs on your connections via the app.

Pinterest – I’m not a huge user of Pinterest, but that makes me an exception. Pinterest has huge traffic numbers and people seem to love it. Find interesting stuff whatever your interests might be.

Google+ – Google+ isn’t going to ever replace Facebook, but it’s a good complement. The posts on Google+ are more polished and newsy rather than photos of someone’s lunch or babies.

Samsung might include 3D Touch technology in its upcoming flagship Galaxy S7

Samsung might include 3D Touch technology in its upcoming flagship Galaxy S7

Samsung and Apple have often locked horns when it comes to near-identical design and feature specifications. It’s been more than once when Apple accused Samsung of lifting substantial features from the iPhone and in turn infringing on existing patents. This time around, rumors suggest Samsung might be planning to lift a key feature from the iPhone 6s for the company’s upcoming Galaxy S7 flagship.

As many of you may have already guessed, the feature in question is 3D Touch. Although it’s just speculation for now, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Samsung pull off such an act. Earlier, Samsung introduced the Samsung Pay feature with the Galaxy S6, which was a direct response to Apple Pay that was introduced few months before it.
This time around, Apple’s 3D Touch technology is under the limelight. 3D Touch responds to the intensity of user’s touch and can differentiate between various kinds of pressure. A report on Weibo suggests Samsung might use Synaptic’s ClearForce technology, which is similar to 3D Touch for all intents and purposes. Huawei has already used ClearForce in its new Mate S smartphone.
Synaptic has been associated with Samsung for a while now; this is not the first time Samsung may employ that company’s technology in its smartphones, thanks to earlier Galaxy Note models. There’s no confirmation yet on whether Samsung will have a 3D Touch-like feature in its upcoming flagships, so it’s best to take this with a grain of salt.
Samsung will have a 3D Touch-like

report from Vietnam says that Samsung is only going to unveil a single smartphone under its Edge lineup next year; this device could be the Galaxy S7. Even so, the Galaxy S7 Edge might come in two display variants — 5.2-inch and 5.8-inch; the larger variant is most likely to sport the curved Edge screen.
Apple’s 3D Touch technology garnered much attention even before the iPhone 6s launch, and Samsung is not the only manufacturer who is trying to get its hands on a similar technology. Huawei went one step ahead in September and introduced an exclusive variant of the Mate S smartphone with 3D Touch-like technology for carrying out functions such as zooming the image and game controls. Huawei also got a leg up on Apple by introducing the handset before the iPhone 6s launch.
To date, reviews have been generally positive on Apple’s 3D Touch, with some praising it for its intuitive control and satisfying feel, and others saying it’ll be some time before enough apps support it. For its part, although Samsung is doing well overall, it certainly has some work to do to boost sales of its Galaxy lineup, so the next-generation Galaxy S7 can’t arrive soon enough.

HOW MANY IPHONES DOES IT TAKE TO STOP AN AK-74 BULLET?

HOW MANY IPHONES DOES IT TAKE TO STOP AN AK-74 BULLET?

Tests confirm marginal difference between Samsung, TSMC-made A9 chips in Apple's iPhone 6s
New battery test results, published on Monday, appear to support Apple's claim of little difference in the longevity of an iPhone 6s with a Samsung-made A9 chip versus one manufactured by TSMC
TSMC's chip performed marginally better in Wi-Fi browsing and GFXBench tests, but actually ranked a few points lower in WebGL scores, noted Ars Technica. For the site's comparisons, two SIM-less AT&T phones were used, each set to the same display brightness.
Kiểm tra xác nhận sự khác Centered biên Samsung, TSMC sản xuất Chip A9 in 6s iPhone của Apple

The TSMC model did do substantially better in Geekbench 3, leaping ahead of Samsung by 28 percent. Previously, Apple complained that Geekbench was "unrealistic" because it forces a phone to operate at peak CPU usage until its battery dies.
It's only under extremely CPU-intensive tasks that Samsung's A9 chip can become a detriment, Ars concluded.
Responding last week to various reports, Apple insisted that there should be no more than a 2 to 3 percent battery life gap between any two comparable 6s models. Some anecdotes hinted that the difference could be as much as two hours.
TSMC's version of the A9 is manufactured using a 16-nanometer FinFET process, whereas Samsung depends on a 14-nanometer technique. Smaller process sizes typically result in more efficient chips
